Sean Schramm has extensive work experience in the engineering and product management roles. Sean started working at Flow International in 1997 as a Research and Development Engineer, and held various positions such as Lean Manufacturing Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, and Sustaining Electro-Mechanical Engineer. In 2007, they became a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Flow International. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Commodity Manager, Product Development at Flow International, where they managed the high pressure pump supply chain and facilitated sourcing of key commodities. In 2011, they became an Engineering Manager for the High Pressure Group at Flow International. In 2014, they joined Shape Technologies Group as a Global Product Manager, and later became the Director of Product Management for the Enabling Technologies Group. Sean is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Shape Technologies Group.
Sean Schramm has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Henry Cogswell College, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Engineering from Green River College between 1996 and 1999. In addition to their formal education, Sean has also received training in various fields. Sean has completed courses in Optimal Product Management and How to Be a Phenomenal Product Manager from 280 Group. Sean has also received training in Technical Project Management from the American Management Association. Sean has further pursued training in ISO 9001:2000 Internal Auditing from ETI Group. Additionally, they have completed courses in FEA - Computer Based Modeling for Design and Analysis using MSC.Patran from MSC.Software and SolidWorks Advanced Parts/Assembly Training from Shounco Design Studios.
