Jaime Ferrando Huertas

Jaime Ferrando Huertas has worked in the technology industry since 2016. In that time, they have held various roles, including Software Engineer at AHORA (2016), Data Scientist at Polystar Group (2017), Machine Learning Engineer at Sandvik (2018), Machine Learning Engineer and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at H&M (2020-2022), and Founder Engineer at Shaped (2022). At H&M, they worked on personalization algorithms and recommendation systems using machine learning, serving millions of users across multiple markets. Jaime also researched, developed and deployed multiple machine learning methods, resulting in statistically significant improvements in customer experience. At Sandvik, they worked on recommender systems and abnormal behavior detection for industrial processes.

Jaime Ferrando Huertas completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2014 to 2017. Jaime then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition and Digital Imaging from the same institution, which they are currently enrolled in. In 2017, they also completed a Computer Science course from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
