Joaquin De Lapatza

Joaquin De Lapatza has over 20 years of professional experience in the finance and technology industries. Joaquin began their career in 1996 as a Credit Analyst at Commerce Bank. In 1998, they joined ABN Amro Basel II, where they held various roles, including Head of EMEA Basel II Implementation Team, Global MIS Project Manager, Change Management and Project Manager, and Organisation and Change Management Manager. In 2006, they moved to ABN Amro Bank Spain as EMEA Network Deputy CFO. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at RBS Global Banking & Markets, where they held the positions of Global Program Manager and Head of Integration and Business Development for Spain & Portugal. In 2017, they joined Teradata as Head of Analytics Business Consulting Iberia and Country Lead for ThinkBig Analytics. Joaquin then moved to Optimissa, Capital Markets Consulting, in 2019 as a Senior Advisor. In 2020, they began working at Valuelenz as a Senior Business Advisor. Most recently, in 2019, they co-founded Shapelets, a time-series data analytics platform, where they serve as COO & People, Business Development, and Co-founder.

Joaquin De Lapatza obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration - Finance and MIS from Saint Louis University between 1993 and 1997. Joaquin then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Post Desgree: Organizational Leadership from ABN AMRO School between 2004 and 2007.
