Jonathan García Téllez

Jonathan García Téllez is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Tech Lead at Shappi since September 2024. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Engineer Lead at Bia, where leadership of a multidisciplinary team focused on the development of internal web and mobile tools. Jonathan has a strong background as a Senior Backend Developer at both PayPal and Rappi, where responsibilities included API development, data management optimization, and the design of digital wallet functionalities. With earlier roles in development and research, including at IMSYS SAS and various positions at Universidad del Valle, Jonathan has cultivated expertise in technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, and microservices architecture, complemented by a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad del Valle.
