Daniel Vallas

Daniel Vallas has a diverse background in finance and tax. Daniel is currently working at Shapr3D as the VP of Finance, a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Finance at Shapr3D from September 2019 to October 2022.

Before joining Shapr3D, Daniel worked at Skyscanner as the International Tax Manager from December 2016 to August 2019. In this role, they managed tax compliance processes, designed and implemented transfer pricing models, and provided tax advice to local business units. Daniel also supervised R&D tax relief claims and handled operational tax processes.

From May 2014 to December 2016, Daniel worked at Viacom as the International Direct Tax Manager. Prior to that, they were a Global Transfer Pricing Analyst at AIG Europe Limited from October 2013 to May 2014.

Daniel started their career at EY as a Tax Advisor from September 2012 to September 2013. Daniel prepared corporate income tax returns, participated in international tax structuring projects, and submitted Advanced Pricing Agreements requests.

Before joining EY, Daniel worked at PwC as a Transfer Pricing Consultant from August 2010 to August 2012. In this role, they prepared transfer pricing documents and conducted benchmark studies.

Daniel Vallas attended Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2006 to 2010, where they studied economics. In 2015, they pursued further education at ACCA, where they attained the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business in April 2017. Daniel completed their studies at ACCA in 2019.
