Steve Young

Steve Young is a seasoned maintenance manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving at Sharjah National Oil Corporation since November 2010, Steve oversees the Sajaa Asset Maintenance Team, ensuring high plant availability and effective execution of maintenance tasks through condition monitoring and the operation of maintenance management systems. Prior to this role, Steve was a Senior Consultant at Petrofac, specializing in plant asset management and troubleshooting critical machinery across various regions. Steve's earlier positions included a Condition Monitoring Consultant at SKF, where expertise was applied in the North Sea, and a Field Service Engineer at Schlumberger, focused on installations and overhauls in Africa and the North Sea. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Instrumental Analytical Sciences from Robert Gordon University.
