Brian McGowan

Brian McGowan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Brian is currently working at SharkNinja as the VP of Global Security & Privacy. Prior to that, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Stoughton Cooperative Bank. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Hasbro as the Head of Global Cybersecurity and Senior Director of IT Security & Compliance. Brian also held the position of Senior Director of IT Security at Cartera Commerce, Inc – A Rakuten Company from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they worked at Upromise, Inc as the Director of IT Security & Compliance and later as the Director of IT Operations. Brian'searlier work experiences include being a Sales Representative at Select and Cabletron Systems.

Brian McGowan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Bridgewater State University. Brian also completed a Professional development engagement led by an executive coach at AIIR Executive Coach. Furthermore, they have additional certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA and Business Engagement and the Information Security Professional Certificate from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
