Nate Lavins

Nate Lavins has a diverse work experience in engineering and IT roles. Nate started their career as an IT Intern at Axelon Services Corp. in 2009, where they created virtual IT servers and updated hardware and software. In 2010, Nate worked as a Mechanical Engineering Technician Co-Op at Bose Corporation, performing design validation testing on various electronic components. Nate then joined Parker Hannifin in 2011 as a Mechanical Engineering R&D Co-Op, where they designed, built, and tested a new pump. Nate gained experience in design engineering and medical device development as a Design Engineering Co-Op at Altitude, Inc. in 2012. Nate also worked at Northeastern University in 2012, co-developing a robotic ankle rehabilitation device as a part of a senior capstone project. Nate worked at Goddard Technologies from 2013 to 2017 as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Currently, they are employed at SharkNinja, starting as a Principal Engineer in 2017 and progressing to roles such as Director and Senior Director of Engineering.

Nate Lavins obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in the years 2008 to 2013. Nate also obtained a certification as a SolidWorks Associate from the SolidWorks® Certification Center in 2013.
