Kat Phaksuwan

Kat Phaksuwan has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Kat started their career at Josephine Chaus as a Textile Designer, where they developed various artwork and attended fashion forecasts. Kat then worked at Felide', Inc. as President & Creative Director, where they established the accessory business and designed and manufactured women's accessories for prestigious clients. Kat later joined Charter Fabrics, Inc. as a Print Stylist, developing print lines and translating trends into products. At Lai Apparel Designs, Inc., they served as a Textiles/CAD Studio Manager, developing prints and graphics for womens' apparel lines. Kat also worked at Gymboree as a Senior CAD Textiles/Graphics Designer, creating original prints and collaborating with the design and production team. Kat continued their career at Koret, Nygard, and Hold Everything as a Prints/Textiles/Graphics Consultant, contributing ideas to designers on colors, placements, and printing techniques. Later, they joined White House Black Market as a Senior CAD Textiles Prints Designer, creating original prints and collaborating with the design team. Their next role was at Chico's FAS, Inc. as a Sr. CAD Artist, where they created original prints and graphics, mentored associates, and collaborated with a cross-functional team. Currently, they are working at Sharon Young, Inc. as a Cad Artist.

Kat Phaksuwan has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Textiles Design from East Carolina University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) degree from Chulalongkorn University, with a focus on Architecture.
