Sheetal Nijhawan

Sheetal Nijhawan has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Sheetal started their career as a research associate at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2002, where they worked until 2005. Sheetal then joined the Cleveland Clinic as a resident in General Surgery and remained there until 2010. Following that, they worked at UC San Diego as a Fellow in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they became an Assistant Professor at the University of South Alabama, where they stayed until 2013. From 2013 onwards, Sheetal served as the Medical Director of Bariatrics at STEWARD SHARON REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM, INC. Sheetal then took up various leadership roles at Sharon Regional Health System, including Vice President of Medical Staff, Chief of Department of General Surgery, and currently holds the position of President of Medical Staff.

Sheetal Nijhawan attended Bangalore University from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained an MD degree. The field of study for their degree is not specified.
