Mariah Santiago, MPH, is a Health Equity Coordinator at Sharp Health Plan since August 2021, leading efforts to achieve NCQA Health Equity Accreditation and influencing decision-making across all organizational levels. Previously, Mariah served as Health Equity Program Manager at San Francisco Community Health Center, where responsibilities included overseeing LGBTQ+ health equity programs and advocating for community health. Experience also includes roles as Development Chair for Prism Foundation, Executive Board Member for the American Public Health Association's LGBTQ Caucus, and Research Associate at ETR, among others. Mariah holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from San Francisco State University, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the same institution and additional educational experience in Classical Sociological Theory at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
