Ryan Mooney

Ryan Mooney has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Ryan is currently serving as the Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at Sharp Health Plan since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CHRISTUS Health as the Director of Health Plans and USFHP Compliance from June 2019 to April 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Consultant at Health Management Associates from March 2018 to June 2019. Ryan also gained valuable experience as a Health Insurance Specialist at Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services from October 2014 to March 2018, and as a Management Analyst at Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSAgov), HHS from August 2010 to October 2014.

Ryan Mooney completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in European History from Washington and Lee University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Ryan later pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from The George Washington University Law School, graduating between 2003 and 2006. Ryan Mooney obtained several certifications in various state bars, including the D.C. Bar in 2008, the Texas Bar in 2007, and the California Bar in 2013. While the obtained month is unknown, they also obtained the Virginia Bar certification in 2007.
