Anthony D'Amico

Anthony D'Amico, FACHE, serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Sharp Grossmont Hospital since July 2009, overseeing the strategic and operational administration of a 542-bed District hospital, managing over 27,000 discharges and 110,000 emergency department visits annually. D'Amico ensures high-quality patient care, optimal facility utilization, and the attainment of financial objectives while fostering strong physician relationships. Prior experience includes roles such as Vice President of Clinical Operations at UCLA Medical Center and Associate Director of Hospital Operations at Scripps Green Hospital, along with leadership positions at UCSD Medical Center and a cancer center. D'Amico holds a Bachelor of Science from Temple University and an MBA from UCF College of Business.
