Dan Exley

Dan Exley has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dan is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Systems at Sharp HealthCare. Prior to this, they worked as a Mentor at The Cedars-Sinai Accelerator and at MATTER. Dan also founded and served as the President of Exley Informatics, a consulting and solutions advisory firm for healthcare organizations. Dan has also held roles as a Lecturer and Scientific Advisor at the University of Chicago, as well as the SVP & Chief Client Officer and Technology Evangelist at Spatialitics LLC. Dan has previously worked at MemorialCare Health System as the Vice President of Information Technology and as the Executive Director of Data Strategy & Reporting. Additionally, they served as an Instructor in the Healthcare Analytics Certificate Program at California State University, Fullerton. Earlier in their career, Dan was the CEO of The Exley Corporation and worked as the Director of Systems Integration & Development at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare.

Dan Exley completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Wheaton College, between 1996 and 2000. Dan then pursued a Master of Medical Informatics (MMI) degree from Northwestern University, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Dan has obtained several certifications, including the AMIA Certified Health Informatics Professional (ACHIP) from the American Medical Informatics Association in July 2022, DataRobot Essentials Certification from DataRobot in 2020, and Fellow of The Advisory Board Company (FABC) in 2012.
