Laurie Ecoff

Laurie Ecoff, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, CNL has over 20 years of work experience in healthcare. Laurie is currently serving as the Vice President of the Terrence and Barbara Caster Institute for Nursing Excellence at Sharp HealthCare since January 2018. Prior to this, they held the role of Clinical Professor at the University of San Diego starting from September 2006. Laurie also worked as the Director of Research, Education, and Professional Practice at Sharp Memorial Hospital from June 2005 to January 2018. At Sharp Grossmont Hospital, they served as the Director of Ambulatory Care from January 1998 to June 2005.

Laurie Ecoff, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, CNL completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing from the University of San Diego, between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they earned an MS in Nursing Administration from San Diego State University between 1994 and 1998.
