Samer Khodor

Samer Khodor, MD, MBA, is the Chief Medical Officer at Sharp HealthCare, where responsibilities include liaison work for operational issues affecting the medical staff and enhancing physician engagement. Prior to this role, Samer served as the Chief Physician Executive of Ambulatory Care at Providence Health & Services, overseeing strategic and operational leadership for a large network of providers and facilities in Montana. With extensive experience as the Physician Director of Patient Safety and Hospitalist Physician at Colorado Permanente Medical Group, Samer led national patient safety initiatives and process improvements. Additional experience includes contributions to Epic Clinical Content Development at Exempla Healthcare and outpatient care as an Internal Medicine Physician at Boulder Internal Medicine. Samer holds an MBA from Regis University, an MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and a Master of Science in Health/Medical Physics from Rosalind Franklin University.
