Zachary Lenert

Zachary Lenert, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, ACM, CEN, LSSGB has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Zachary is currently serving as the Vice President of Integrated Care Management at Sharp HealthCare since October 2022. In addition, Zachary has also worked as an Instructor at UC San Diego Extended Studies starting from June 2023.

Prior to these roles, Zachary worked at Advocate Aurora Health as the Director of Inpatient Care Management Operations for the South Chicagoland Patient Service Area from February 2021 to October 2022.

Zachary has also held several positions at Jupiter Medical Center, including Director of Case Management, Manager of Case Management, Nurse Case Management, and Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. During their time at Jupiter Medical Center, they oversaw the overall operations and strategic planning of Case Management, Utilization Review, and Bundle Payment Care Improvement - Advanced programs.

Zachary also gained experience at HCA Healthcare as the Manager of Emergency Services and Behavioral Health Intake, Unit Coordinator for Freestanding Emergency Services, and Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department on a per-diem basis.

Zachary began their career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Rush Copley Medical Center.

Zachary Lenert holds a Master's degree in Nursing Executive Leadership from Chamberlain University, which they obtained between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of St. Francis, from 2013 to 2015. Zachary also holds an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Waubonsee Community College, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. In terms of certifications, they are an NEA-BC (Nurse Executive Advanced) certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, obtained in July 2022. Zachary also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Purdue University, achieved in 2021. Additionally, they hold the Accredited Case Manager - RN certification from the American Case Management Association, obtained in September 2019, and is a Certified Emergency Nurse certified by the BOARD OF CERTIFICATION FOR EMERGENCY NURSING (BCEN®), obtained in March 2018.
