Matt Smith

Matt Smith has worked for several companies since 2010. Matt began their career at Hoosier Games as Lead Programmer, where they programmed independent projects for PC, Xbox Live Indie Arcade, mobile phones, and Windows applications. In 2012, they interned as a Programmer at Aptura Machine Vision Solutions, where they worked on a graphical interface for a mobile asphalt mixing plant. In 2011, they worked as a Cashier at Meijer. In 2013, they joined Interactive Intelligence as a Sr. Application Developer. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Genesys as Manager and Team Lead of Global Professional Services. Most recently, they have been the Director of Software Engineering and a Full-stack Developer at Sharpen since 2019.

Matt Smith attended Carthage College from 2009 to 2010, studying Computer Science. Matt then transferred to Indiana University Bloomington and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2013. In 2016, Matt obtained two certifications: Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in August, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in September.
