Nasir Safdari

Nasir Safdari is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in Natural Language Processing and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at LexisNexis Legal since September 2024, Nasir has also been a Mentor and Independent Data Scientist at SharpestMinds since November 2021, where a model was developed to identify unfair clauses in online Terms of Services documents. Prior roles include Senior Data Scientist at Introhive, focusing on LLMs and RAG solutions, and Data Scientist at Bell, specializing in conversational AI. Earlier professional experiences include a Machine Learning Fellowship at Fellowship.AI, an Assistant Instructor role at Trilogy Education associated with the University of Toronto, and a Research Assistant position at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Nasir holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology from The American University of Afghanistan.
