Asad Bugti

Asad Bugti has a diverse range of work experience in the IT field. Asad started their career at Team Global Tech in 2005, where they provided software installation support until 2007. Asad then moved on to Joe's Crab Shack in 2006, where they worked as a System Support Engineer, handling POS software and hardware installation, remote help desk support, server monitoring, and infrastructure support. From 2008 to 2012, Asad worked at Jason-Fugro as a Windows System Administrator, responsible for managing the overall administration of Windows Server, desktop database on Antivirus console, and installing patches and hot fixes. In 2012, they joined Mintex Technology as a Virtualization Engineer, providing technical support and consultancy services, managing the company's domain environment and MS CRM suite, and offering level 3 support to end users. Their most recent role, which they started in 2017, is the Director of Information Technology at Sharps Compliance, Inc. Here, they lead a team of IT professionals and is responsible for all corporate and local office systems, including applications, data center, servers and storage, PCs, and telecom. Asad completed a current state assessment, authored the firm's IT strategy and project roadmap, and implemented changes resulting in significant cost savings.

Asad Bugti attended Alvin Community College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an Associate's degree in Information Technology. Following this, from 2001 to 2005, they studied at the University of Houston and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance.
