Samuel J. Brunett M.f.a. (Sam)

Samuel J. "Sam" Brunett, M.F.A., has been a Visual Art Teacher at Monongalia County Schools since August 1993. Recognized as the 2018 West Virginia Art Educator of the Year by the National Art Education Association, Brunett also served as the AFT Monongalia President from 2005 to 2018, actively engaging in public education advocacy. Brunett holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting/Sculpture from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Education in Art Teacher Education from Fairmont State University.
