Michelle Lee

Michelle Lee is a dedicated Visual Art Teacher currently teaching at Berkeley Carroll School since August 2023, focusing on students in Nursery 3's, Pre-K4, Kindergarten, and First Grade. Previously, Michelle contributed significantly to The School at Columbia University from August 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included designing a visual arts curriculum across multiple grade levels and integrating art with other disciplines. Experience spans various educational roles, including positions with the NYC Department of Education and Success Academy Charter Schools, where Michelle was a founding art teacher and curriculum developer. Additional impactful work includes teaching at the Children's Museum of The Arts and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Art and Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University.
