Ondrej Langr

Ondrej Langr has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ondrej began their career as a Researcher and Interaction Designer at CTU, where they worked part-time on a European research project. Ondrej then joined Sun Microsystems as an Interaction Designer, responsible for creating UI specifications for the NetBeans IDE and providing user experience consulting for multiple worldwide teams.

After that, Ondrej worked at ExperienceU as a Co-founder and UX Consultant. Ondrej later joined Oracle as an Interaction Designer before moving on to ACM SIGCHI, where they served as a Membership Committee Representative.

In 2011, Ondrej joined AVG Technologies as a Senior Interaction Designer, leading website redesign and cross-product design consistency initiatives. Ondrej later became a User Experience Architect, responsible for designing a new AVG product that integrated existing products into one seamless experience. As a Senior UX Manager, they championed cross-product design consistency at AVG.

In 2016, Ondrej joined GoodData as a Principal UX Architect, focusing on design strategy and strategic projects to provide companies with data products for their customers. Most recently, they are working at Sharry as a Head of Product, streamlining workplace access with an easy-to-use app and blending mobile badges, smart parking solutions, and workplace services for enterprises and commercial buildings.

Throughout their career, Ondrej has demonstrated expertise in user-centered design, UI/UX strategy, and product management, contributing to the success of various companies and projects.

Ondrej Langr obtained their Master's Degree in Information Technologies from Czech Technical University in Prague, where they studied from 2001 to 2008. Additionally, they pursued studies in Information Technology at Uppsala University from 2004 to 2005.
