Akshay Narkhede

Akshay Narkhede is a Scientist II specializing in Upstream Process Development at Shattuck Labs since August 2022, co-leading the development of biotherapeutics such as bispecific fusion proteins, mAbs, and mRNA. Previously, Akshay served as Process Development Lead at BIOMILQ, focusing on scaling up perfusion hollow-fiber bioreactor processes. Earlier roles at BIOMILQ included contributions to upstream process development for cell-cultured human milk products and innovative biomaterial interactions research. Akshay's educational credentials include a PhD and MS in Chemical and Biological Engineering from The University of Alabama, where significant research involved the development of bioengineered cell culture platforms.
