James Vuong, RHIA has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. James began their career as a Crew Member at McDonald's in 2012, and then worked as a Nursing Assistant at HCR ManorCare. In 2013, they took on the role of Student Manager at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2014, they worked as a Product Zone Specialist at Apple. In 2017, they were a Professional Practicum Experience (Intern PPE) at the University of Illinois at Chicago - Developmental Disabilities Family Clinics. In 2018, they were a Clinical Report Coordinator at Tempus, Inc. and a Clerical Assistant at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Since 2020, they have been working at Northwestern Medicine as an Operations Coordinator, Release of Information, Health Information Management and a Data Integrity Coordinator. In 2022, they began working as a Cyber Security Analyst / Project Manager at Shatzkin Systems, Inc.

James Vuong, RHIA completed their Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2018. Prior to that, they attended Bartlett High School from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their Bachelor's degree, James also holds a ClickUp Novice certification from ClickUp, a Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera, and a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification from AHIMA.
