Russell Karlson

Russell Karlson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and business management. Currently serving as Director of Corporate Finance and State Manager for NSW at Shaw and Partners since September 2019, Russell also chairs the Shaw and Partners Foundation from March 2021. Previous roles include Non-Executive Director at Stacey Surfboards and Sonder Australia, as well as Executive Consultant for White Bay 6 Marine Park. Prior to joining Shaw and Partners, Russell held senior positions at RBC Capital Markets, overseeing global markets in Australia, and at Westpac, where leadership included managing substantial teams and significantly increasing funds under management. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University and attendance at Scotch College in Perth.
