John McPhaul

John McPhaul is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project controls, primarily within the construction and environmental sectors. Starting a career in project management with Fluor-Daniel, overseeing project controls for nuclear power plants, McPhaul later transitioned to Blount Construction Co. as a project control manager for power and industrial projects. Subsequently, McPhaul served as manager of project controls at CB&I, focusing on environmental clean-up for large Department of Defense and Department of Energy projects. Since February 2017, McPhaul has semi-retired but continues to contribute to the Sylvester Local Newspaper in Southwest Georgia, where writing for a small-town audience leverages a lifelong passion for communication. McPhaul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Technology from the University of Florida.
