James B. Swedenborg founded the company in 1977 as Swedenborg Construction. In 1993 the company name was changed to Swedenborg Shaw Construction, reflecting the addition of John N. Shaw (Jack) to the firm's leadership. Now as Shaw Construction, the Shaw family and our associates continue to build on our tradition of quality, competitive personal service.
