Helen Coombes

Helen joined the board of Shaw healthcare in March 2022. She has had a successful executive career, directing and leading on major programmes within local government and NHS trusts, specialising in corporate strategy, financial recovery, performance improvement and sustainable partnership models. For the last 11 years, Helen has run a consultancy and interim executive business, which has seen her take on a series of high-profile and politically sensitive leadership roles, both within adult social care and a range of other sectors. Helen has also had a range of Trustee and Chair roles for charitable organisations in sport and social care, since 2005.
