Christie Nelson

Christie Nelson, SPHR, CCEP-I, has extensive experience in human resources and compliance, currently serving as Senior Director of Compliance at Shaw Industries since October 2014. Previously, Christie held roles as International Compliance Director and Global Human Resources Director at the same company. Additional experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at Dalton State College from August 2019 to December 2021 and as Human Resources Director/Compliance Officer at Hutcheson Medical Center from July 2012 to September 2014. Prior to these positions, Christie was the Director of Human Resources at Erlanger Medical Center from June 1995 to February 2014. Christie earned a Master's degree from The University of Alabama between 2008 and 2010 and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Alabama from 1991 to 1993.
