Rhett Smith, M.S., serves as the Director of Learning & Organizational Development at Shaw Industries since June 2012, leading the Learning & Development function for over 21,000 associates and aligning learning solutions with business objectives to enhance employee engagement and retention. Previous roles include Divisional Training & Development Manager, Senior Training Manager, and Training Manager at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where course materials were developed, and classroom activities facilitated. Additionally, Rhett Smith worked as an Organizational Development Specialist at Erlanger Health System and as a Human Resources Contractor at Alstom Power, focusing on performance improvement, employee engagement, and recruitment strategies.
