Kelsey Rettke is an experienced journalist currently serving as the Editor of the Daily Chronicle with Shaw Media since March 2020, leading a team responsible for producing daily content in DeKalb County. Previously, Kelsey worked as a News Reporter for the Daily Chronicle and held various positions in journalism and community engagement, including a freelance journalist role and participation in the FOIA Fellowship at DePaul University. Kelsey has a strong background in organizational leadership, having served on the Board of Directors for the Rising Professionals of Beloit, and has managed marketing strategies for the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce. Kelsey Rettke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and History from Beloit College, complemented by a fellowship in journalism from DePaul University.
