Andrew Zacharias

Andrew Zacharias has worked for several companies in various roles over the course of their career. In 2019, they began working for Shaw Systems Associates, LLC as a Senior Software Developer, and previously held roles as Software Developer II and Software Developer I. From 2016-2019, they worked as a Solution Consultant at Guidewire Software, where they customized and implemented policy, claims, and billing software for insurance companies, and led the BillingCenter development track for a small insurance carrier based in New York. From 2009-2016, they were a Web Administrator at CaseNEX, where they oversaw all aspects of website operations and designed and modified web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In 2008, they were a Geotechnical Engineering Intern at Froehling & Robertson, Inc., where they reorganized the firm's Access database and created an interface for running queries and entering data more efficiently. Finally, in 2007 they were a Traffic Engineering Intern at VDOT, where they wrote SQL queries for crash databases, analyzed data, created Excel charts and GIS maps with ArcGIS, and created a database of information on interstate interchanges and ramps.

Andrew Zacharias completed a Higher Diploma in Computer Science from Technological University Dublin between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia between 2005 and 2010.
