Rahel Bekele is a Junior Consultant at The World Bank since September 2023 and has been a Project Officer at Shayashone Trading PLC since July 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Program Assistant at ABH Partners, an affiliate of Jimma University, from August 2019 to July 2020, and participating in a sustainable internship with GIZ from September 2018 to August 2019. Rahel gained early experience as an intern at EWCA during the summer of 2017 and as a researcher at UNESCO Biosphere Reservation from 2015 to 2016. Rahel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science and Sustainable Development from Hope College (2014-2018) and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Project Management at Addis Ababa University, expected to be completed in June 2024.
