Jeremy Westrem

Jeremy Westrem has a strong background in auditing and internal controls. Jeremy currently holds the position of Vice President of Audit at SHAZAM Network - ITS, Inc. Prior to this, Jeremy worked at KPMG for a significant portion of their career, where they held various roles including Director, Manager, Senior Associate, and Associate. Jeremy managed multiple teams and executed operational internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley assessments, and contract compliance reviews. Jeremy also served as the interim Vice President of Audit Services for a company with a 20-person audit department. Before joining KPMG, they worked at Wells Fargo as an Internal Auditor, where they assisted in performing operational, financial, and compliance audits. Jeremy also worked at the Iowa Division of Banking as a Bank Examiner, where they conducted safety and soundness examinations of state-chartered banks and identified unsound practices and violations of laws/regulations.

Jeremy Westrem obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa in the years 1996 to 2000. Jeremy has also obtained several certifications, including a Certified Internal Controls Auditor from the Institute for Internal Controls in 2020, a Certification in Risk Management Assurance from the Institute Of Internal Auditors in 2013, a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Michigan in 2006, a Certification in Control Self Assessment from the Institute Of Internal Auditors in 2005, and a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute Of Internal Auditors in 2003.
