Mohsen Vatani

Mohsen Vatani is a seasoned control engineer currently serving as the Lead Control Engineer at Shearwater GeoServices since October 2023. Prior to this role, Vatani was an IT/OT Integration Engineer at Nebb Group, focusing on Azure Digital Twins and Azure IoT services, and worked as a Control System Engineer at FSubsea, where contributions included the design of subsea control systems and implementation of data-driven estimation methods. Earlier experience includes roles as a researcher at the Institute for Energy Technology, a visiting scholar at the University of Oslo, and a postdoctoral research fellow at NTNU. Vatani's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Control Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, alongside master's and bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and Isfahan University of Technology, respectively.
