Russ Matuszak

Russ Matuszak is a trustee at Shea's Performing Arts Center. Russ previously worked as the general counsel and corporate secretary at Barrister Global Services Network from January 2000 to December 2003, where they handled legal matters pertaining to company operations, including general corporate matters, litigation, contracts, employment/labor issues, intellectual property, and securities matters. Russ also managed the use of outside counsel, directed shareholder services/investor relations, proxy development, Section 16 filings, and the annual meeting of shareholders. In addition, they handled corporate governance and prepared minutes for Board of Directors meetings. Russ evaluated and closed acquisitions.

Russ Matuszak has also worked as an adjunct professor at Canisius College, where they taught business and commercial law for undergraduate and MBA level courses from August 1996 to August 2003. In January 2005, they began working as the vice president of compliance, privacy & ethics/ interim chief audit executive at Highmark Western & Northeastern NY Inc-Highmark BlueCross BlueShield WNY & Highmark BlueShield NENY, a position they still hold today.
