Ruty Mehrian-Shai is the Head of the Brain Cancer Molecular Medicine at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. Prior to this role, they served as a Scientific Executive at the Diagnostic Laboratory of Hy Lab and Patholab and as an Assistant Professor of Research Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Ruty holds a PhD in Brain Cancer from the University of Southern California and a PhD in Immunology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. They also have postgraduate degrees in Brain Cancer Genetics from UCLA and Intercampus Medical Genetics from Cedars Sinai. Additionally, they hold a degree in Medical Genetics from UCLA and another PhD in Immunology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
