Tom E. Mitchell

Tom E. Mitchell, CISSP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Tom E. is currently serving as the Director of Information Security and Technology at Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green PA, a position they have held since March 2019. Tom E. also simultaneously worked as a Network Security Specialist for the same company from March 2019 to January 2020.

Prior to their current role, Tom worked at Onepath LLC from January 2018 to March 2019. During this period, they served as a Client Engagement Manager/vCTO and later transitioned into the role of Operations Manager after Onepath acquired Paradigm Computer Consulting, Inc.

Tom's experience in the field began in 1990 when they served as an Electronic Technician 2nd Class/Submarine Sailor in the US Navy until March 1998. Following their military service, they joined Cardinal Tracking, Inc. as a Technical Services Engineer from July 1998 to April 2001.

Tom E. then joined Paradigm Computer Consulting, Inc. in April 2001, where they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer until November 2005. From December 2005 to September 2011, Tom held the position of IT Operations Officer at Centrix Bank. Tom E. returned to Paradigm Computer Consulting, Inc., this time as the COO, from September 2011 to September 2016.

In September 2016, Tom became the CTO at Paradigm Computer Consulting - A Onepath Company and continued in this role until December 2017.

Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated their expertise and knowledge in the fields of information security, technology, and operations management, making him a valuable asset in any organization.

Tom E. Mitchell, CISSP, has a diverse education history. Tom E. first attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1992 to 1994, studying Chemistry. Prior to that, they underwent training in the US Navy, specifically in the field of Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician as part of the Submarine Electronic Technician Pipeline. In 1990, they also attended the US Navy Submarine School.

In addition to their formal education, Tom E. Mitchell has obtained several certifications. These include the Microsoft Certified Professional certification, which they received from Microsoft in April 2012. Tom E. also obtained the MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator on Exchange 2010 certification from Microsoft in July 2011. More recently, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in March 2019.
