Alex Boone

Alex Boone is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and EVP of Technology at SheerID since February 2012, where responsibilities include designing and implementing a REST API for eligibility verification applications. Alex also manages a software engineering and design venture, aboone.com, since 2001, creating applications for clients including a notable iOS application for King Estate Winery. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat, where Alex enhanced a Ruby on Rails application and optimized automated testing, and a Senior Software Engineer at Palo Alto Software, where Alex engineered a web-based email application. Alex holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
