Ernie Higgerson

Ernie Higgerson is the President of local 1525 SMART-Td at SMART Transportation Division. Prior to this, Ernie held the position of Vice local chair 1525 Smart-td and was a conductor at Amtrak. Ernie also has experience as a paramedic at medstar ambulance inc. where Ernie served as a paramedic/student supervisor. Ernie received education from I.H.M. and Southwestern Illinois College. Currently, Ernie is focused on safe and efficient train operation as well as paramedic duties.
