Jaffer Idris

Jaffer Idris, also known as Jay, serves as the PG Course Leader and Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University since August 2012, where responsibilities include providing academic leadership, creating a cohesive course team, and employing a learner-centered teaching approach across various subjects, including HR and marketing. Jaffer has received multiple inspirational teaching awards from Sheffield Business School and has held roles such as Academic Advisor and Lecturer, focusing on structured learning activities and student support. Prior experience includes managing director and senior consultant at JP Alliance Ltd, senior manager roles at NOCN and Sheffield City Council, and HR officer at Ruskin Mill Educational Trust.
