Paul Lawrence

Paul Lawrence is an experienced academic and professional in the fields of business management, finance, and risk management. Currently serving as the Departmental External Examiner for PG at Sheffield Hallam University, Paul also holds the position of External Examiner at Leeds Beckett University. As a Principal Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, Paul leads the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship and teaches finance courses. Previous roles include module convener at St. Mary's University, adjunct teaching fellow at University College London, and managing director at SureStep Risk Management. Paul has extensive experience in financial risk management, having worked with firms such as Fiserv, SunGard, and Algorithmics. Paul holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, an MSc in International Securities, Investments, and Banking, and a BA in Business Studies. Paul is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
