Adam Battey

Adam Battey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Adam started their career at Newman University College, where they worked as an IT Services Helpdesk Technician, providing support and resolving ICT-related issues for staff and students. Adam also served as a Hall Tutor, being the primary contact for any disturbances or problems in the Halls of Residence. Additionally, they worked as a Bar Supervisor, overseeing staff, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Adam then moved on to Greenside Venue, where they served as a Venue Technician during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Adam was responsible for building and striking temporary venues, providing technical assistance, and operating light, sound, and AV for performances.

After that, Adam joined Ecclesfield School as a Technical/Curriculum Resource Assistant in the Performing Arts department. In this role, they handled various tasks such as event planning, rigging, programming, and operating lighting, sound, and AV systems. Adam also engaged in administrative duties such as creating budgets, rehearsal timetables, and other paperwork related to health and safety.

Subsequently, Adam returned to Greenside Venue, this time as a Bar Manager. Adam'sresponsibilities included managing the daily operations of two venue bars during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Most recently, Adam joined Sheffield Theatres as a Trust and Partnerships Development Officer. Adam'srole includes developing partnerships and securing funding for the company. Additionally, they previously worked at Sheffield Theatres as a House Assistant, where they were responsible for site security, reception, administration, and portering services.
