Claire Lin has a diverse work experience spanning many industries. Claire started their career in 2003 as a Business Development Manager at Think Bay Technology, Inc. where they were responsible for identifying and selling anti-piracy technology. Claire then moved on to Newegg in 2006 as an E-commerce Merchandising Manager, where they led marketing and merchandising efforts for the consumer electronics division. At Activision Blizzard in 2008, Claire worked as an Associate Channel Marketing Manager, generating demand for their games through integrated marketing campaigns. Claire then joined eBay as an E-commerce Business Manager, managing a combined GMV of over $100M for clients such as Quiksilver and Roxy. In 2010, they joined Asia Pulp & Paper as the GM of Sales & Marketing, overseeing marketing and sales strategies for a growing commercial subsidiary. Claire then spent several years at Newegg Marketplace, first as the Director of E-commerce Marketing & Merchandising, and later as the Sr. Director of Global E-commerce Marketing & Merchandising. During this time, they led an integrated marketing and merchandising strategy that drove five consecutive years of double-digit revenue growth. From 2019 to 2021, Claire served as the Vice President of Global Marketing & Demand Lead Generation at Halo, where they built global brand strategies and redesigned multiple websites. Most recently, starting in 2021, they have been the Vice President of Global Marketing & Operations at Social Native, responsible for strategic brand vision and managing a global team. In 2023, Claire is set to become the Head of Seller Marketing for SHEIN Marketplace at SHEIN Distribution Corporation.
Claire Lin holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, with a focus on Marketing, from Loyola Marymount University's College of Business Administration. Claire is currently serving as an Advisory Board Member for the Customer Experience Program at UC Irvine. Additionally, in 2015, Claire obtained a certification as a Certified Marketing Consultant from the eMarketing Association.
