SheJumps
Rachel Perley currently serves as a Development Associate at SheJumps since September 2024. Prior to this role, Rachel worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Insitu Inc from November 2022 to August 2024 and at BRINC Drones from November 2021 to July 2022. Experience also includes working as a Teaching Assistant at Girls Who Code in 2021, where Rachel delivered lessons on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and worked on website design projects for high school students. Earlier roles include Electrical Engineer at BLUE ORIGIN, focusing on FPGA design and verification from July 2019 to June 2021, and tutoring positions in both engineering and computer science at Harvey Mudd College from August 2016 to July 2019. Additional internships in the field of electrical engineering were undertaken at General Atomics and Pure Storage. Rachel Perley holds a degree from Harvey Mudd College, completed in 2019.

SheJumps believes growth is in our nature, but fear of stereotypes, failure, rejection, labels, etc—those spoken over us, spoken inside of us and what we’ve believed—limit our growth. SheJumps helps women and girls take risks in the outdoors to enable them to break through fears and internal/external barriers in life so they can grow to their full potential. SheJumps is almost entirely volunteer-run.
