Katie Pate

Katie Pate currently serves as the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Development at Appalachian State University, following previous roles as Senior Associate Athletics Director at George Mason University and Associate Athletics Director for Development at Appalachian State University. With a strong background in athletics administration, Katie has successfully built alliances within NCAA Division I institutions, enhancing financial strategies and program engagement. Key accomplishments include negotiating NCAA Division I exhibitions to generate significant funds for program enhancements. Katie's earlier experience spans multiple coaching and administrative positions at various universities, complemented by an extensive educational background that includes an M.B.A. from Webster University and degrees in Kinesiology and Spanish from Coker University.
