Nicholas Schwab is an experienced professional in environmental education and farm management, currently serving as Farm Manager at Pony Power Therapies since September 2022 and as Farm-Based Educator at Shelburne Farms since April 2017. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Counselor at Frost Valley YMCA and Tracking Intern at Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge, where tracking efforts contributed to species recovery. Nicholas also held positions as Ecology Group Intern at Bandelier National Monument, PR and Marketing Director for Dickinson College Idea Fund, and Field Biology Assistant with Professor Scott Boback, focusing on field research of painted turtles. Nicholas has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dickinson College (2010-2014), and early work includes roles in farming and customer service.

We advance education for sustainability and farm-to-school initiatives in Vermont, nationally, and internationally through our programs and partnerships, including our Sustainable Schools Project, partnership in Vermont FEED, Northeast Regional Lead for the National Farm to School Network, as backbone organization of the Farm-based Education Network, and more.
