Mary C. Rountree

Mary C. Rountree is an experienced educational leader currently serving as a Reading Interventionist with the Shelby County Board of Education since August 2022 and as an Assistant Principal with Shelby County Public Schools since July 2019, overseeing over 750 students and enhancing instructional practices. Prior roles include serving as an Assistant Principal at Trussville City Schools from July 2019 to June 2022, where significant improvements in organizational efficiency and student discipline management were achieved, and as an ARI Reading Coach at Shelby County Public Schools from July 2016 to July 2017, focusing on student progress in reading. Mary C. Rountree holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Samford University, earned in August 2023.
