Keith McCoy

Director of Photography at Shelby County Reporter

Keith McCoy has had a varied and successful career. In 2008, they began working as an Assistant Manager at McAlister's Deli, where they were responsible for overseeing revenue, profits, labor management, and associates. Keith also trained and supervised associates, as well as managed inventory and maintained the organization of the business. In 2011, they began working as a Photographer and Graphic Design at Clark Antiques Gallery. In 2008, they began working at Starnes Publishing as a Creative Director. As an integral member of the team, they helped grow a single 20-page monthly publication into more than 5 papers with 300 pages, massively increasing revenue and tripling circulation. Theirrole focused on content management and pagination, photography, advertising campaign development and design, and employee oversight and education. Finally, in 2015, they began working as the Director of Photography at Shelby County Newspapers, Inc. Theirmain roles included photographing all front page feature art for the five weekly publications and features for the monthly magazines. Keith was experienced with portraits, sports, community events, weddings, and concerts.

Keith McCoy attended Mississippi State University from 2002 to 2006, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
